Dear respective readers, welcome to our blog called Civil Craft Structures. In this niche blog, we interested to share from our point of view in terms of knowledge and experience. We also dedicating this blog to civilization awesome builders in the field of Civil Engineering and Construction. But before we go any further, allow us to brief on the title as introduction of this engineering blog.
Civil
- In general it refers to civil people, the citizen of a country. An earliest territory occupied by a group of people, then comes the earliest civilization with a leader that possessed the power to govern. With the advancement of technology, more roles developed to find a better solution of quality life.
- Civil engineering, considered as one of the earliest human profession on our planet as it is the result of an ancient structures that still stand against time until today. This is the genuine proof of the earliest human achievement through man-made structures. Civil engineers are the forefront of technology for mankind.
Craft
- In general it refers to the skilled practice of a practical occupation. The civil engineers acted as the craftsman of its design and ensuring the workmanship of its creation through construction period.
- Man-made structures crafted from various types of construction material. Ancient times usually used stones, woods, etc. In modern days, the commonly and widely used materials are cement, aggregate, and sand.
Structures
- In general it refers to a thing constructed varied from small to complex construction or entity. Basically the structure consist series of small or large composition formed together as one unit.
- Civil engineered structures are mainly buildings, bridges, dams, airports, harbors, as well as roads, and tunnels. Nowadays, engineers will not only limit themselves to the needs of the people but more likely as an artist of its creation.
About the Creator
Warmness welcome to all from the Creator of this blog. Hi, I’m Civil-Guy (the chosen nickname for this blog) and just call me Mr. Vine. I’ve been working in construction field for the past eight/nine years with various companies, both as Contractor and Consultant. I’ve involved with project that constructing road, building, bridge, and now in education department. Most of my experience related with laboratory testing, project site works, and lots of paperwork.
The Co-Author
This is the co-author of my engineering blog. He’s the kind of guy that share a lot of his wisdom in construction works mostly at field (the real project site). Meaning to say that he is a very busy-busy with dust and sweat under the hot sunny and cold rainy day. I will assist the man in compiling any related issues in civil engineering and construction works. Being a savvy is definitely added as an advantage…

Civil engineering and construction could be broad topic but we will take our chances although we may not be the expert of everything and the willingness of expanding our knowledge. Furthermore, I will used my own blog for my own benefit by complying whatever knowledge that I’ve been ‘absorbing’ throughout the years. Nonetheless, Civil engineering may not be the most glamorous career to some but it is the community that builds our World as the benefit of our own…
